• The Goodfellows mission is to raise funds for assistance to the needy and disadvantaged people in the Midlands. The focus of the investments is to assist people who are in danger of being evicted or having their utilities disconnected and provide holiday meal vouchers.

The Committee represents the diverse interests of the community and provides oversight to the implementation of strategies, goals and objectives that ensure service, quality and program sustainability.
The 211 Committee is responsible for providing and / or ensuring:
- An adequate number of professional staff to meet key performance indicators
- Financial and technical support to provide the necessary tools for staff to do their jobs
- Review of the annual budget
- An awareness and promotion of the value of 211 services
- Executive staff who are accountable to the Committee
- Regular meetings that are documented according to the bylaws and standard governance practices
- Accountability, transparency, and business continuity within the organization
