As United Way of the Midlands celebrates a century of helping others and supporting our metro community – we hope you will join in the celebration by attending one, or all, of our 100th Anniversary special events!

Join us for a day filled with fun including the following and more:

A Community Village featuring area partners providing different services and giveaways
A free hot dog, nachos and water for the first 250 attendees
Play basketball and wiffle ball located in left-centerfield
Run the bases from 10 a.m. – Noon
Play at the Centris Family Fun Zone, which includes a jungle gym, inflatables and a carousel
Balloon artists and face painting
Free photo and United Way of the Midlands magnet frame to the first 500 attendees
A coloring station for ages 2-12, with a free box of Girl Scout cookies for completing a coloring sheet (while supplies last)

Celebrate summer and United Way of the Midlands’ 100th Anniversary by attending this free event, generously provided by our sponsors listed below.

This event will feature family-friendly activities, fun giveaways and a community village where you can learn more about our local partners. Plus, the first 250 attendees will receive a free hot dog, nachos and water!

werner park policies:

CLEAR BAG POLICY

A bag taken to any ticketed event at Werner Park must be a transparent plastic, vinyl or PVC tote. Bags must be no larger than 16” x 16” x 8”. Guests may also bring small or clutch-sized purses/wallets not exceeding 6.5″ x 6.5″ x 4.5”. Staff members are not allowed to hold or store bags during an event. Staff members are happy to make special accommodations for bags with medical necessity. However, each bag will need to be properly searched by security before entrance.

OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGE
Fans are not allowed to bring any outside food into Werner Park. However, fans are permitted to bring certain food or drink with them for specific medical conditions and formula for babies.

SMOKING/VAPING
Werner Park is a smoke-free ballpark (including electronic cigarettes and any other vaporized smoking). Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outside of the ticketed area. Fans wishing to smoke may do so outside of Gate 7 located on the first base side. Fans who fail to comply with the no-smoking policy will be asked to exit the Werner Park grounds.
