Our corporate partners’ commitment to our work directly impacts thousands of lives every single day. Industry leaders across the Midwest have chosen to invest in United Way of the Midlands’ mission to make a real difference in our community.
UWM is proud to serve as a trusted agent for change and a corporate social responsibility extension to your organization, enabling you to engage employees and achieve successful business outcomes – all while making a measurable impact in our region.
United Way of the Midlands partners with local companies to create opportunities that advance community good and engage employees.
When you partner with UWM, you join other organizations and thousands of individual donors to create a Circle of Support that helps our neighbors overcome difficult challenges and start building a brighter future.
UWM’s funded programs and direct services address social and economic disparities and focus on four key areas to improve health and well-being for all, build financial stability and strength, help young people realize their full potential and address urgent needs today to advance a better tomorrow.
A Workplace Campaign gives your employees the opportunity to work together to make a lasting impact on our metro.
UWM has volunteer opportunities throughout the year. In addition to the community- wide initiatives we plan – like Day of Caring – we also love working with individual corporate partners to schedule their own volunteer projects with one of our local nonprofit organizations. Our team can help you through the entire process of planning, executing and tracking involvement.
United Way of the Midlands could not do the work we do in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro without the amazing support of our incredible partners. You can help us continue to have an impact in our community with an Annual Sponsorship of the key events we host every year:
Every September, hundreds of volunteers come together for one day to help
nonprofits in Douglas, Sarpy and Pottawattamie Counties. As a sponsor for this event, your
logo will be displayed on T-shirts worn by volunteers across the community.
Held every January on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, this special event includes
activities throughout the day including a community breakfast, MLK Day Luncheon, Good
on the Go volunteer event and networking happy hour
Over the course of one week in August, hundreds of volunteers come
together to build 5,000+ hygiene kits for students in need across the metro and in JAG
Nebraska programs across the state.
