As campaign season gets underway, we know there have been questions and some confusion about what United Way of the Midlands’ evolving relationship with the Combined Health Agencies Drive (CHAD) means for CHAD member agencies and donors. We want agencies, donors and corporate partners to understand the options available to support this work with UWM.
Most importantly, donors can continue to support CHAD member agencies through United Way. We honor donor designations to CHAD member agencies, as well as other eligible organizations, ensuring designated gifts support the organization selected by the donor.
CHAD member agencies can continue to pursue funding opportunities through United Way. Organizations that meet eligibility requirements may apply through UWM’s competitive funding cycles, providing opportunities to align around community needs and measurable impact.
Our partnership can extend beyond funding. We welcome opportunities to work with CHAD member agencies through volunteer engagement, community initiatives and other collaborative efforts.
