THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO JOINED US FOR A GREAT DAY OF GOLF

Last week, more than 120 golfers and sponsors came together for the Applied Underwriters Invitational — raising nearly $400,000 to support United Way of the Midlands’ programs and community investments. From the first tee to the awards dinner, there were plenty of great moments. Take a look at photos from this year’s tournament.

Nearly $400,000 RAISED FOR OUR COMMUNITY

It was a beautiful day on the course, with an impact that reaches far beyond it. To put the impact of this generosity in perspective, the contributions from golfers and sponsors could help provide:

45,000 meals
35,000 shelter nights
2,800 health services

And Omaha made quite a debut. The tournament was the second-highest grossing, first-time tournament in the Applied Underwriters Invitational series — the #1 charity golf tournament in the country.

We’re grateful to Applied Underwriters for bringing this event to Omaha and for its tremendous commitment to our community. And thank you to every golfer, sponsor and supporter, as well as the team at Shadow Ridge Country Club, who made the day such a success.
