In partnership with our sponsors, United Way of the Midlands is hosting this FREE community event as a way to say thank you for the support and caring spirit that makes our work possible.

A free hot dog lunch for the first 1,000 attendees

Play basketball and wiffle ball located in left-centerfield

Enjoy the Centris Family Fun Zone, which includes a jungle gym, inflatables and a carousel

Free photo and United Way of the Midlands magnet frame

Volunteer with us

Donate blood at the american red cross blood drive

We are partnering with the Red Cross at the Party at the Park for a life-saving blood drive from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. As a thank you, each donor receives a $15 gift card.

In addition to each volunteer receiving a $15 gift card, donors to the blood drive will be entered to win the following:

4 tickets to a Royals baseball game (choose between the dates of Friday 7/26, Saturday 7/27 or Sunday 7/28 Royals vs Cubs or Friday 8/9, Saturday 8/10 vs Cardinals)
4 tickets to Worlds of Fun or Ocean of Fun
4 tickets to Union Station

CLEAR BAG POLICY

A bag taken to any ticketed event at Werner Park must be a transparent plastic, vinyl or PVC tote. Bags must be no larger than 16” x 16” x 8”. Guests may also bring small or clutch-sized purses/wallets not exceeding 6.5″ x 6.5″ x 4.5”. Staff members are not allowed to hold or store bags during an event. Staff members are happy to make special accommodations for bags with medical necessity. However, each bag will need to be properly searched by security before entrance.

OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGE
Fans are not allowed to bring any outside food into Werner Park. However, fans are permitted to bring certain food or drink with them for specific medical conditions and formula for babies.

SMOKING/VAPING
Werner Park is a smoke-free ballpark (including electronic cigarettes and any other vaporized smoking). Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outside of the ticketed area. Fans wishing to smoke may do so outside of Gate 7 located on the first base side. Fans who fail to comply with the no-smoking policy will be asked to exit the Werner Park grounds.
