THE COMBINED HEALTH AGENCIES DRIVE (CHAD)

The Combined Health Agencies Drive (CHAD) supports local, Nebraska-based health agencies, all of which have a primary focus on improving the health and quality of life of those living in Nebraska.

United Way of the Midlands’ long-time fundraising relationship with CHAD provides support to these 23 agencies – serving more than 150,000 people annually.* Investments enable innovative research, critical client services and educational and prevention programs that improve lives and support our community.

HOW TO DONATE

CHAD and the 23 member health agencies that are represented participate as full campaign partners in the United Way of the Midlands campaign in workplaces throughout the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metro.

Gifts to the UWM Community Impact Fund directly benefit CHAD health agencies, just as they help support the human services programs funded by UWM. CHAD receives a percentage of United Way of the Midlands’ campaign dollars. For donors who still wish to support individual agencies, an area on the pledge form allows donors to designate gifts to specific agencies.
