In her current role, Krissy Suski is responsible for the development and execution of the overall communication and marketing strategy for United Way of the Midlands (UWM) – including all programs the organization administers such as JAG Nebraska, 211 and Goodfellows, among others. This includes management of the websites for UWM and JAG Nebraska, social media across all brands, event coordination, overall branding standards/design and more.
Prior to UWM, she spent the past 17 years working in marketing and product development – most recently at Lincoln Financial Group (LFG). At LFG, Suski led the Group Protection product marketing team and she had the opportunity to co-lead the annual United Way campaign for the Omaha office. Before LFG, she led marketing and product development teams at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska and GiftCertificates.com (now Tango Card).
Suski received her bachelor of science degree in business administration and management from the University of Nebraska – Omaha, and is also a graduate of the ICAN Defining Leadership for Women program.
She is married to her husband, Pete, and they have four children – Audrey, Madison, Kaylee and Brenden – along with their dog, Cooper, and cat, Flynn. In her free time, Suski enjoys live sporting events, concerts, camping and traveling. In addition, she’s the program coordinator for the Papillion Jr. Titan Cheer organization, a recreational cheer squad supporting the Papillion Jr. Titan Football organization.
