In his current role, Travis Klein is responsible for managing the financial activities of United Way of the Midlands including accurate tracking of the organization’s financials, cash flow, financial planning, investment activities, audits, financial analysis and financial reporting to UWM management and the Board of Directors. He also oversees and manages all aspects of the Human Resources and Facilities departments’ activities.
Prior to UWM, Klein spent 27 years at First Data, now Fiserv, where he was most recently vice president of finance – supporting the production side of the business. Throughout his time there, he also supported multiple segments and functions in a variety of finance capacities across the organization’s global operation.
Klein received a bachelor of science degree in finance and management from the University of Nebraska – Kearney.
He has been married to his wife, Tracy, for 25 years and they have three boys: Hunter, Harrison and Houston. They have lived in the Omaha area for the past 27 years and enjoy participating in outdoor activities as a family.
