OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The United Way of the Midlands is often the bridge between people in need and community resources.

This year, they have a lofty goal for the impact they hope to make.

“We want to deliver over 10 million services to the community,” President and CEO Shawna Forsberg said.

Forsberg said those services could include assisting homeless shelters, supporting students in and out of the classroom or helping families build financial security.
