united way of the midlands to recognize corporate partners & citizens of the year at Annual Meeting

United Way of the Midlands (UWM) will host its 2024 Annual Meeting and luncheon on Friday, October 25, at the CHI Health Center – Jr. Ballroom,  455 N. 10th Street, Omaha, NE. The event will kick off with a coffee and networking time from 11 – 11:30 a.m., followed by the program from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

During the event, UWM will share the significant impact donor investments and volunteer efforts are making in our community – and recognize corporate partners and individuals who have gone above and beyond to support UWM’s work in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro.

Nine area organizations will be recognized for their generous support during the 2023-24 campaign with the Campaign Partner Awards, and Tim and Terri Burke will be honored as United Way of the Midlands’ 2024 Citizens of the Year.

“Our Annual Meeting is the perfect setting to celebrate the many organizations and individuals who are supporting our community and helping those who need it most,” said Shawna Forsberg, president and CEO, United Way of the Midlands. “We are truly grateful for the caring spirit that runs deep in our community, and it’s our honor to recognize those who make a difference for thousands of people in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro.”
