WORKING TOGETHER FOR A STRONGER COMMUNITY

Thanks to our donors, community partners and volunteers, we are creating lasting change in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro.

TOGETHER, WE RAISED MORE THAN $40.6 MILLION TO HELP THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST IN THE OMAHA-COUNCIL BLUFFS METRO.

Because of your generosity and support, United Way of the Midlands raised $40.6 million to help our neighbors in need start building a brighter future! We are truly grateful for your commitment and dedication to our mission in helping us achieve this milestone for charitable giving.
forming a circle of support
When you support United Way of the Midlands, you’re joining together with thousands of others to create a Circle of Support around our community.

With your belief and trust in what we do, we work alongside our partners to build awareness of community needs and form a Circle of Support to address those needs.  We invest in more than 150 programs and direct services focused on social and economic disparities – removing barriers, creating opportunity and strengthening the systems that people rely on.

It’s this Circle of Support that allows us to help our neighbors overcome difficult challenges and start building a better future for themselves and their families.

Thank you for caring so deeply about this community! We continue to be humbled by everyone in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro who gives their time and treasure to advance the work we do.

2022 top 100 campaigns
campaign leadership

United Way of the Midlands would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Tim and Terri Burke for serving as our 2022 Campaign Chairs, and to our Campaign Cabinet members – Kim Arnold, Stephen Bruckner, Jon Doyle, Matt Dwyer, Kelli Eickhoff, Drew Fossum, Dr. Harris Frankel, Eric Johnson, Rob Maglinger, Scott Moore, Rob Reed and Jack Struyk. Thanks to their leadership, we surpassed Mr. Warren Buffett’s Tocqueville Membership Challenge – reaching 403 members and increasing his generous match of United Way of the Midlands’ campaign. We are truly grateful to Mr. Buffett, as this remarkable achievement resulted in thousands of additional dollars being invested in our community.
