Stamp out hunger
This annual event is the largest one-day food drive in the nation and invites residents to leave nonperishable donations by their mailbox for collection. Held the second Saturday in May, it’s a simple way our community comes together to help stock local food pantries.
We are proud to partner with the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 5, Teamsters Local 554, Kemps, the United States Postal Service and the Omaha Federation of Labor AFL-CIO.
Together, we can make sure no one goes hungry.
the impact of your support
On May 9, 2026, letter carriers across the Omaha metro collected 158,000 pounds of food from postal customers, which was delivered to six local nonprofits.
