Tickets are now on sale for the hottest event in town, Blue Collar Boxing, presented by Limitless Male! This annual charity boxing tournament, hosted by the Omaha Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO and United Way of the Midlands, will take place on Wednesday, November 27, at its new location, Baxter Arena in Omaha.
During the event, local labor union members will spar in the boxing ring for charity – with proceeds donated to the Nebraska Center for Workforce Development and Education and United Way of the Midlands to support their vital work in our community.
This year’s event will also spotlight those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. military – and will feature a special bout between two union members who are also veterans that served for our country.
General admission tickets start at $27.25 and can be purchased at BlueCollarBoxing.org or the Baxter Arena box office.
Partners since 1941, the relationship between the Omaha AFL-CIO and United Way is built upon a mutual desire to create a better, stronger and more vibrant community. Because of this shared commitment to the metro, the organizations created this amateur boxing event in 2019.
The atmosphere will be electric, the energy will be high and the arena will be rocking! So, mark your calendars and get your tickets today for Blue Collar Boxing, November 27, at Baxter Arena.
