Winter Warm-Up 2026

Every child deserves to come to school feeling confident, cared for and ready to learn.

HELPING OPS STUDENTS WARM UP

Unfortunately, during the harsh winter months, many local students across the Omaha metro face the cold without essential winter gear such as hats and gloves – impacting their health, learning and overall confidence.

The Winter Warm-Up project was created in response to a request from Omaha Public Schools (OPS) to provide winter apparel for students who need it most.

Teachers and counselors identify students in need, ensuring every item purchased goes directly to a child facing cold-weather challenges.
