In partnership with its sponsors – Election Systems & Software, NP Dodge, Scheels, Werner and WoodmenLife – United Way of the Midlands (UWM) is hosting this FREE community event to say thank you for the support and caring spirit that makes our work possible. Everyone in the community is invited to come out and enjoy the fun!
This celebration that will feature a variety of free activities including: face painting and balloon artists; live music from the band Leila’s Rose; a Community Village with local nonprofits showcasing their work and providing fun giveaways; the Centris Family Fun Zone; a photo booth with magnetic photo frames; and a free hot dog or nachos lunch for the first 1,000 attendees!
The American Red Cross will also be hosting a mobile blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – with everyone who donates blood receiving a $15 gift card and the chance to win other great prizes.
In addition, UWM is encouraging attendees to bring a toothbrush to support its Shine Bright Hygiene Kits – which will be distributed to students in need in local schools. Learn more about Shine Bright at UnitedWayMidlands.org/ShineBright.
