YOU can be a health hero on Health Hero Giving Day, February 24, 2021!
People impacted by life-altering health diagnoses need your help. By making a gift on Health Hero Giving Day, hosted by United Way of the Midlands and the Combined Health Agencies Drive on Feb. 24th, you can provide them with the hope and support they need to navigate difficult health challenges.
United Way of the Midlands has been a proud funding partner of CHAD (Combined Health Agencies Drive) agencies since 1987. This partnership supports individuals in our community by providing care and support for those affected by a health diagnosis, funding education and prevention programs in our communities and supporting advocacy and medical research. Your gift on 2/24 supports 21 CHAD health charities that served over 150,000 people last year.
The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown additional challenges to those who are facing life-altering health diagnoses. On February 24th, you have the chance to be a source of support for CHAD Agencies.
By visiting www.unitedwaymidlands.org/health-hero or texting HEALTHHERO (one word, no space) to 71777 on 2/24, you can make a donation and direct it to the health charity of your choice. 100% of your gift will go directly back to charities and benefit individuals impacted by health diagnoses. If you are passionate about a certain health charity or cause, you can sign up today to become a fundraiser! Just click here to set up your page, then invite friends and family to help you meet your fundraising goal on 2/24!
We want to extend a big thank you to our Health Hero Giving Day presenting sponsor, Physician’s Mutual; supporting sponsors, Great Western Bank, Hancock and Dana, and Lindsay Corporation and media sponsor, KETV.
