26th ANNIVERSARY “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive Set for Saturday, May 12, 2018

United Way of the Midlands is honored to partner with Labor United, Inc. for the National Association of Letter Carriers’ 26th Annual “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive to reduce food insecurity in the metro area. See below for full details.

WHAT: National Association of Letter Carriers’ 26th Annual “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive (NALC Branch 5)

WHEN: Saturday, May 12, 2018

WHERE: Mail customers are asked to put nonperishable food items in a bag and place it next to their mailbox first thing Saturday morning, May 12. Customers received a special paper food donation bag delivered by Branch 5 and Rural letter carriers. The bags are sponsored by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 22 and National Electrical Contractors Association of Nebraska. Customers can also use any sturdy sack and deliver food donations directly to their local Post Office.
