Who: United Way of the Midlands (UWM) is hosting its Annual Meeting and luncheon today, October 20.
More than 600 people representing local businesses and nonprofit agencies are registered to attend this
sold-out event.
What: During the event, UWM will celebrate 100 years of helping others and share the impact donor
investments and volunteer efforts are making in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro.
Nine area organizations will also be recognized for their generous support during the 2022-23 campaign
with the Campaign Partner of the Year Awards, and Henry Davis will be honored as United Way of the
Midlands’ 2023 Citizen of the Year.
Why: This event gives UWM the opportunity to celebrate the organizations and individuals who have gone above and beyond to support our community and help build a stronger tomorrow for our neighbors in the metro area.

11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Hilton Omaha, Grand Central Ballroom
