United Way of the Midlands is proud to announce it has been awarded a grant of $5,000 from Wells Fargo. The grant will support the partnership between UWM and the Book Trust program.
Through UWM’s partnership with Book Trust, a national literacy program, nearly 2,200 K-3rd graders in ten Title 1 schools across six school districts will receive books throughout the academic year. By investing in this joint initiative, Wells Fargo is improving access to reading materials, empowering teachers to create a classroom culture of literacy and inspiring students to read across the metro.
