United Way of the Midlands Recognizes Corporate Partners at Annual Meeting
On Friday, October 20, United Way of the Midlands (UWM, UnitedWayMidlands.org) held their 2023 Annual Meeting at the Hilton Omaha. More than 600 attendees enjoyed a program celebrating 100 years of UWM helping others and the impact donor investments and volunteer efforts are making in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro.
Nine area organizations were also recognized for their generous support during the 2022-23 campaign with the Campaign Partner of the Year Awards:
- Volunteer Organization of the Year – WoodmenLife
- New Business Partner of the Year – KETV
- Corporate Partner of the Year, Leadership Donors – Physicians Mutual & Scoular
- Corporate Partner of the Year, Under 100 employees – Zachry
- Corporate Partner of the Year, 101-199 employees – KPMG
- Corporate Partner of the Year, 200-799 employees – Security National Bank
- Corporate Partner of the Year, 800+ employees – OPPD & Werner
In addition, Henry Davis, CEO of Greater Omaha Packing (pictured with 2022 Citizens of the Year, Julie and Lance Fritz), was honored as the 2023 Citizen of the Year.
