Corporate Partners at Annual Meeting
United Way of the Midlands (UWM) will hold its 2022 Annual Meeting and luncheon on Friday, October 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hilton Omaha Hotel, 1001 Cass Street.
During the event, UWM will kick off its 100-year anniversary celebration and share the impact donor investments are making in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area. Nine area organizations will also be recognized for their generous support during the 2021 campaign with the “Campaign Partner of the Year” awards, and Lance and Julie Fritz will be honored as UWM’s 2022 “Citizens of the Year.”
This year also marks the 50th anniversary of UWM’s “Citizens of the Year” award. A special video during the event will highlight the amazing impact the support of past and present award recipients has made for so many across the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area.
“Our Annual Meeting is the perfect setting to celebrate the many organizations and individuals who support our campaigns and are helping us build a stronger tomorrow,” said Shawna Forsberg, president and CEO, United Way of the Midlands. “We are truly grateful for the caring spirit that runs deep in the metro area, and it’s our honor to recognize those who have gone above and beyond to make a difference for our community.”
