Save the Date: Blue Collar Boxing Charity Tournament

The AFL-CIO and United Way of the Midlands will host the first annual Blue Collar Boxing event on November 27, 2019 at the Baxter Arena beginning at 7 p.m.

During Blue Collar Boxing, amateur boxers from eight local labor unions will face off in the boxing ring. Proceeds from Blue Collar Boxing will be donated to United Way of the Midlands and the Nebraska Center for Workforce Development and Education to support local labor workers and families in need.

Tickets start at $20 and are available for purchase at bluecollarboxing.org. To purchase a table or suite, contact Kate at kkgotsdiner.ncwde@gmail.com.

United Way and the AFL-CIO have been partners since 1941. Their relationship is built upon their shared desire to better our local community.

United Way and the AFL-CIO will also be hosting a Blue Collar Boxing weigh-in party taking place this Saturday, November 16th beginning at 7 p.m. at Stocks n Bonds, 8528 Park Drive, Omaha, NE 68127.
