TODAY– United Way of the Midlands to Recognize Corporate Partners and Citizens of the Year at Annual Meeting
Who: United Way of the Midlands (UWM) is hosting its Annual Meeting and luncheon today, October 21. More than 600 people representing local businesses and nonprofit agencies are registered to attend this sold-out event.
What: During its annual meeting and luncheon, UWM will kick off its 100-year anniversary celebration and share the impact donor investments are making in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro. Nine organizations will also be recognized for their generous support during the 2021 campaign, and Lance and Julie Fritz will be honored as UWM’s “Citizens of the Year.”
Why: This event gives UWM the opportunity to celebrate the organizations and individuals who have gone above and beyond to support our community and help build a stronger tomorrow for our neighbors in the metro area.

11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Hilton Omaha, Grand Central Ballroom
